GENERAL

You can link a Reference shot to a timeline. Usually this reference clip is used to verify that a conform (loading a timeline from an external EDL / AAF file) was done correct. Use the Fetch or Load button to get the reference clip and drop the thumbnail on the Reference clip area. The Viewport will switch to split view with on the right the reference clip and on the left the normal timeline display. The link to the Reference clip is stored in the project database so you can easily restart the verification process in a later session. Just clicking the thumbnail of the Reference clip will switch the Viewport back into split view again.

SCALING

Scale the reference clip to the same resolution as the timeline.

CLEAR

Clear the linked reference clip.
